In this role, you'll:

• Perform day-to-day revenue accounting and month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis, so revenue is recorded accurately and on time.
• Apply ASC 606 to customer contracts and transactions. Identify unusual or complex arrangements for technical evaluation and escalate them to leadership.
• Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and supporting analyses for new products, pricing changes, and non-standard deals.
• Validate and reconcile revenue subledger data against the general ledger, including billing, Oracle, and RevPro, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute and document SOX controls over revenue. Evaluate control design and recommend improvements that balance risk and efficiency.
• Prepare quarterly and annual revenue disclosures and supporting schedules for external reporting, including SEC filings and audit requests.
• Translate business and accounting needs into system and process requirements, and support UAT for revenue system enhancements, new product launches, and acquisitions.
• Lead small projects and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve close efficiency, automation, and data quality.
• Partner with Billing, Deal Desk, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and systems teams as a trusted advisor on revenue matters.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing clear, well-documented processes and supporting evidence.
